Following the recent Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 launches, more than 100 locations across five continents held a weekend-long hackathons for students and other participants to create apps for the Windows ecosystem. Many of our members assisted to this hackathon in which they learn the basics on developing application for Windows 8. (more…)

Dr. Gonzalez and the ACM would like to bring a team of juniors or seniors students to visit UT Austin on Thursday April 04 – Friday April 05.

It’s a free trip. UT Austin biomedical research programs would like our CS/ CE students to grab an interest in pursuing graduate studies in biomedical areas of their programs. (more…)

Here we plan on getting together at least once a week and learn some internet programming languages such as HTML, CSS, CSS3, Javascript ,JQuery, and AJAX  just to name a few. Knowing these languages can only help to grow your knowledge  as a programmer and help you to think and approach situations using different methods. This work shop is open to all majors and anybody who has a general interest creating websites.
